I developed my writing skills on short stories and a vivid imagination brought about by being an only child growing up in the Indiana countryside during the 1980s. Trees, grass, wheat, corn, and soybeans were my playground. I had not yet discovered the personal computer and other than the antiquated Atari, gaming consoles had not yet had their resurgance.
